This is the time of year when you can go out as close as 10 miles, soak some chum and maybe catch a big Mako or Thresher. We have had reports of sharks all along the south shore, from 10 miles out to 30 miles out, The Linda, The Rock piles, and The Yankee being just a few of the hot shark spots. Tuna fishing has also still been good. The Coimbra still being a great day trip for those with a single engine boat or a boat that can’t make it to the Canyon. Get out and catch a fish!!
