Even though the weather is starting to cool off, the Black Seabass fishing is red hot!!! Most boats are getting there limits easily with most fish being in the 3-6 lb range; making for some great table fare. Diamond jigs seem to be producing great as well as the basic Hi-Lo Rig with some clams. As these fish continue their offshore migration we should hopefully start to see some more codfish on the wrecks as well. On the Black fish front, fishing off Montauk and Block Island remains incredible with the action starting to really heat up with the falling water temps! Shaping up to be a great fall and winter season for Long Island Fishing!
